I have two of Julia Cameron's books. A friend of mine gifted me the Artist's Way back when I decided I wanted to be a "writer." Back then, I didn't see myself as an artist, because I mostly blogged. But now that I am writing a memoir and learning how arduous the process is, I'm learning to embrace that writing is an art. I still don't do those Morning Pages though :) Do you?

I try my best... I'm always going to prioritise fajr first though so it's never first thing as soon as I wake up unless I'm menstruating.

It's even harder with small kids. I find I've been managing 2 or 3 times a week....

Oh, that's great! Have you found that it helps with your writing?

It helps clear my head and clarifies my intuition so I know exactly what I should be writing... It doesn't help me carve out the time to actually do it or magically give me the courage to speak my unadulterated truth🤪

It's a pleasure Debbie! There's such a wealth of stories out there about the big changes people made after the pandemic and I love discovering new ones. I particularly appreciate the perspective of a mother too.
